This First Picked Silver Needle is made from tea leaves from the high mountains of Fuding. The “first picked” refers to the first batch of tea buds harvested after the spring breeze. These buds, known as “first picked silver needles,” are plumper and more tender than regular silver needle tea buds, with a more uniform appearance. They accumulate energy and nutrients throughout the winter and are harvested for just over 10 days after the spring breeze, making them exceptionally valuable. This Silver Needle is refreshing and sweet to taste due to its rich internal qualities, with a full-bodied aroma and thickness that also adds to its value for storage.
