This product features tightly curled tea leaves with prominent white fuzz. It is made from selected early spring buds of high-mountain tea trees, combined with jasmine flowers harvested on a sunny afternoon in midsummer in Leshan, and meticulously processed through multiple fermentations. The fragrance of the flowers blends with the tea, resulting in a brew that is neither bitter nor astringent, with a bright yellow-green liquor and a fragrant, enduring aroma. The infusion is rich and smooth, with a lingering floral scent.
Sichuan-style jasmine tea has a long history. Abundant sunlight, large temperature variations, and minimal pest damage accentuate the distinctive qualities of the fresh leaves. Handpicked fresh buds are expertly crafted by experienced mountain tea masters.
Tea Appearance: Tight and compact with prominent white fuzz; Jasmine petals are pure white without blemishes
Taste: Bright yellow-green liquor with a fresh, intense, and enduring aroma; Rich, mellow, and refreshing flavor
Selection of Buds: It is made by repeatedly fermenting jasmine flowers with green tea. The principle is to allow the fragrance of the fresh flowers to blend into the tea leaves, making it a type of reprocessed tea.
Flower Blossoming: This involves alternating between cooling and airing the fresh flowers, and then gently turning them over, while also periodically stacking them to increase temperature. This ensures even blooming under specific temperature and oxygen-rich conditions.
Flower Sieving: Removing impurities and selecting pure flowers. Removing flower stems with high moisture content and no fragrance, and grading them for blending with tea. This process also helps to stimulate flower opening further.
